To make your wish of owning a valuable home a reality, the Griha Pravesh in a new or old home must be achieved at a shubh muhurat.

The basis is to bring happiness, peace and wealth into your home by incoming in an auspicious Lagna and Tithi. Griha Pravesh Muhurats are calculated using dates (Tithis), days, lagna, and nakshatra. The Griha Pravesh Muhurat for February 2023 is shown here.

Meaning Of Girha Pravesh Rendering To Vedic Texts
According to Vedic traditions, the months of Magha, Phalguna, Vaishakha, and Jyeshtha are particularly favourable for Griha Pravesh.

The four Chaturmas months of Ashadha, Shravana, Bhadrapada, and Ashwin are forbidden for housewarming ceremonies. The reason for this is that all deities, including Lord Vishnu, rest and sleep during these months. In addition to this, Griha Pravesh believes that the month of Paush is unlucky.

Tuesday is the only day that is not ideal for Griha Pravesh. But, unless there are extraordinary circumstances, it is not permitted to enter a new property on Sundays or Saturdays.

The Shukla Paksha's Dvitiya, Tritiya, Panchami, Saptami, Dashami, Ekadashi, Dwadashi, and Trayodashi are seen as auspicious for the Griha Pravesh ceremony with the exception of Amavasya and Purnima.

Griha Pravesh must be achieved in a specific Lagna (sign ascendant). The shubh muhurat on this event is strongminded by the position of the Sun in relation to your birth Nakshatra. If it is in the fifth and ninth houses from your sign, for instance, the period is not good for Griha Pravesh, but if it is in the sixth and eighth houses from your sign, the period is exceptionally favorable.

Vastu shastra is a traditional branch of Indian science that emphasises the significance of directions. Vastu describes a location where God and mankind coexist. The five elements that make up the human body are thought to be related to vaastu for dwellings.

Vastu states that there are gods in every direction. Positive energy from all angles brings happiness, peace, and richness into one's life. Vastu puja and shanti must therefore be performed prior to Griha Pravesh.

After finishing Of Construction, Griha Pravesh (Griha Nirman Karya)
